So if you're looking for story I'd go elsewhere. If you want combat and exploration then this is a good choice.
To be clear Crystal Project is not focused actively telling a story. The meat of the game is in exploring the large open world, finding cool loot, collecting crystals to unlock more classes and using them to defeat progressively more difficult bosses.
The best way to get an idea of what this game is like is to play the demo. It's an excellent representation of what the game is like and contains roughly the first 10-20 hours of the game. All progress transfers to full version of the game as well if you decide to buy it.
