Chest in Trial Cave

How do I grab the leftmost treasure box where the crystal is? I've jumped on the lamps to get the right chest, but the left one seems quite out of reach.

it sounds like you've just started the game so il try not to spoil any content. but there are ways to increase your jump height / distance. the dev was pretty smart to add alot of ways to think outside the box or to ease the exploration through the world. nothing is missable that includes boss mob stolen items, so enjoy exploring in which ever direction you want :) although i do recomend using the marker system on your map (if you have access to a map) to mark anything you miss or a boss your struggling with for now

its possible to jump from very edge of a platform.
that said, you could just wait till you gotten certain one of the movement assisting tools.

you dont need any mounts. you start from the ledge in the back that the mushroom men run on and jump to the 2 higher platform to the right. its kinda tight due to the block above you but its very doable. then make an identical jump up and to the right, follow the ledge to the chest.
