1) floaty movement. that is, a lack of friction means he'll float to the side very slowly as you race down a passage then WHAM bounce off a corner and start bouncing off the walls trying to recover. This gets increasingly a problem as your max speed increases.
2) how annoyingly slow mining is at the start and it never really feels like it gets better. It does, but I always feel the slowness, due to that couple of frames of animation before the compression starts, orbs respawn slowly and that timer only gets longer...
1. You can get use to it and control it very well, without hitting every second wall you pass at full speed XD But yes, it is annoying when you are learning
2. It actually mines faster than Engineer even on the start of the run, but again it takes practice. One tip I can give is: contact mining should NOT be used as primary mining method, this is spheres job. If you feel like they are slow that means either:
- get more damage
- you are trying to do straight tunnels with Assessor (Assessor should mine in zig zag pattern)
- get Assessor's special ability fast, like wave 1-2.
Those are just small tips. Not every one will like this keeper, since it is really unusual.
There are three to choose from: exploding spheres (great from clearing iron clusters), Split spheres (great for mining fast) and reflect (great for mining fast, if you have Cascading Impact supplement for Assessor).
