Bug or Exploit? Iron worms glitch

Discovered that after attaching an iron worm nest to an iron cluster and then destroying the iron after fully infested each iron node produced 4-6 pieces instead of the 1-3 that usually is made (iron worms upgraded to meticulous), bypassing the wait period that the worms usually take to extract the iron. 99% sure this is a bug, probably the result of the worms change the value of each iron box before extraction.

Good find :)
I'll fix that, it's not intentional as it is illogical (the idea being the worms are so crafty in mining that they generate more iron).
