Guild Assignments on Challenge mode
Are these supposed to be neigh impossible to do? The waves ramp up sooo quickly I can't seem to find a way to deal with them. So far I did the 200 iron and the Showdown since one doesn't have combat and the other one gives plenty of time to upgrade, but I tried some of the others and they seem un-doable. Maybe I need to use wave delaying equipments?

I don't think the developer intended challenge levels to only be beatable in one hyper specific way, but that's the only thing I've found with any sense of reliability or hope.

They are technically doable, but some are a tad overtuned atm. I have all the challenge badges on all assignments now, but with those that are a bit overtuned atm, you really need an absolutely perfect run where you find resources super fast with next to 0 dig waste, and find the first supplement to upgrade your weapon within the first handful of waves to have a chance at the 300% boosted ones atm.

it used to be worse before the recent update. Whether if you should focus on weapons upgrade or mining upgrade depends on the challenge, but generally speaking Assessor is vastly easier than Engineer. Also the dual laser beam upgrade makes the waves a lot easier.

Appreciate the insights, I haven't tried to use the drones offensively at all nor the Assessor, so going to give those a shot.

Drones early on with battle ones helps a lot to pick off extra stuff to lessen the load you have to deal with. The arty dome I find far too slow and clumsy to work well and it's not what I used to finish all the challenge maps, I preferred the laser dome for some, and tesla for others personally.

As for the extra gadget, that one is up to what works best for you, but for like dense and such the worms are fantastic, others have better choices, you just pick the gadget that pairs well as a starter with whatever challenge it is.

Tried battle drone and it was damn good. Haven't done Assessor yet, but I did try the Tesla dome and it got me through 2 of the challenges. I liked it alot especially with how easy it is to upgrade, but I think early on, the HP on artillery dome is what gets me through most of the time.

Overall seems like it's super luck based, if I get that triple bomb supplement or shock hammer early, then the run is doable, otherwise I die lol.

Was able to do quite a few more of the challenges, got about 6 left, probably 50/50 on artillery/tesla dome. Picked the shockwave hammer as the starting gadget on most maps and that thing is disgustingly good for how little resource it takes to upgrade.

Just the reverse gravity challenge left. Finally tried Assessor, and I can see that character being super strong in theory, but I'm having a really bad case of skill issues to actually use it properly.
