WE need a Co-Op

we need that but for multiplayers
i mind 2 domes "far" one from another and they can play in the same mine
you (the developers)
can make a "vs" (survive more and you win)
a co-op 1 mine 2 players 1 dome
a co-op whit 2 domes and 2 players

It's fine :D I get it is hard to fallow all games news, with so many interesting games around. it is not confirmed for 100% it will happened, but they are working on co-op and versus multiplayer modes :D Will both happened, who knows, we will see. I hope so, since I'm really interested in versus mode.

Played a lot of season 5. Was waiting for new seasons or this co-op update to play with a buddy. I think it would be awesome even if there was one dome and 2 players. One could focus on mining and the other defending.

Multiplayer
We know this is *the thing* that everyone wants, and it’s the same for us!
We did quite some planning earlier this year and started proper development on Multiplayer last month. I’ll share our current plans - please keep in mind that plans can always change, and there is a lot of uncertainty in how well development goes (as multiplayer is tough, especially when adding it retroactively.)

As a first step, we’ll implement local multiplayer with a coop mode for 2-4 people. Right now our goal is to have that playable for Gamescom this year, which is at the end of August. There we can get some first hand impressions of how people enjoy and play with coop mode. I expect we’ll learn a bunch there, and give us the feedback we need to continue iterating on the mode. If everything goes super smooth we might have a second game mode by then, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Please note that multiplayer won't yet be released publically, as we'll continue refining it after Gamescom.
Anyway, more on that mode in the future!

Possible, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's Splitscreen or something like that. We'll see.

Yes, it´s often wrongly used. LAN=LOCAL Area Network. Splitscreen = Splittscreen. Singlescreen = Singlescreen.

I thought this was a thing many updates ago? I just got on with a friend and see that it's been mentioned as "coming soon" A YEAR AGO and still not an option? Or am I not seeing it in this updated start screen?
