I guess they are locked by default, since new players are unlocking stuff. So probably it is not possible to make it unlock for some players (experienced) and lock for others (new players).
Yeah, I have to agree with that. I am on vacation, saw the update on Dome Keeper that I have played for a ton of hours and wanted to try out the new stuff in that I stumbled over, only to have the game tell me: "Noooonono, first you have to play the OLD stuff again :D! You know, the ones that you got bored of after XXX hours? Yeah, more of that first!"
Instantly took out all the fire.
What kind of thought process is this? Come on, devs.
Nope. You can unlock stuff on any difficulty. You get 2 things (I think it was 2, maybe 3) to unlock randomly (except battle abilities, those I'm pretty sure are assign to playing and winning with a specific starting gadget) from the list. So if you didn't got what you wanted just play again.
while i do agree with your point, there's no need to be petty .
Well this is a stupid af comment. It has literally nothing to do with getting good lol. This game is easy. I can win 100% of the time on relic hunt with any modifiers. But I only like playing endless because of how easy relic hunt is, so having to go back to play relic hunt was boring. Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself loser.
I get your frustration. My method for unlocking stuff is: Small map, No Monster, grab drill 1 (maybe drill 2) and go for the relic. Done. It takes less than 5 minutes. Hope it helps in the future :)
