Making games to be hard just for the sake of them being hard takes what could be a great game and slam-dunk them right into the trash pit.
As it stands I consider this game broken as it has no playable difficulty.

Have you tried "Long cycles" modifier on Normal+Small maps? Assuming you can even unlock that without winning, idk.

Have you tried Normal and Small maps in general? Maybe taking your favourite gadget?

Both of the easier difficulties came in from requests like these already. And the first difficulty is basically a tutorial. So...

If you are serious and not trolling (not trying to provoke/insult, just that it's hard to know on steam forums sometimes!) I suggest you elaborate a little on what part it is you're struggling with. What part do you die in and why.. and how (in what aspect) do you wish that the new "easy" difficulty makes the game easier etc. Do you think the dome shatters too easy? Do you not notice the enemies are attacking already while mining... are you healing the dome? Buffing it? Struggling with resource RNG... stuff like that. It would also help the community determine if you're making some obvious mistake or not noticing some key element of the game that makes the game harder than it's supposed to be. (It'd also help the dev to make that particular game mechanic more obvious etc.)

In all honesty, right now a developer would have a hard time figuring out how they would even cater to you, as there's no specific info what you think needs to be fixed.
