How to beat Lucina?

Hey, so I've spent the past 6 hours struggling on her boss fight, and I don't know what to do. The fight is pretty smooth up until she's around 1/3 HP, where she proceeds to land unavoidable crits on me every 10 or so attacks. These crits end up doing a ton of damage, and will kill me after 12 or so seconds. I've tried opting for a crit resist build, but then that makes the rest of the fight hell due to the amount of defense I'll have to sacrifice for it. My gear is dinosaur skull helm, muddy puddle boots, teddy plate, and bacon greatsword (rare drop from the grandpa pig fight). What do you all recommend?

Definitely gotta use Dried Mug Shards to improve your gear at the Forge. Many players seem to forget you can do this in MFPP despite it being heavily inspired by soulslikes.
