Report a translation problem
1: I think YOUR power as the player is what is given up. Minishoot lives on, and returns to their family/friends, but with the memory of your help from outside.
2: The Unchosen is purified, with the stolen power being released when you defeat them, and I was SO happy to see that, because I was sad that I had to "kill" him.
3: Yeah, the mother scarab/living demigod is a good guy. It's really refreshing to me because SO MANY OTHER GAMES make the god figure a villain.
4: It's a very happy ending to me. Instead of finding out that the prophecy is some trick, you prove your worth as the savior and you DON'T repeat the sins of the past.
I love it.
Also yes, I did get the feeling that the ending would be a twist "fight the god thing" moment... but then the ending happened.
