Boat Crew

How to upgrade crew.
how do i upgrade my crew to have better range and accuracy, and other stuff as well? or is it simply not implemented yet?

The longer your crew survives the trials of war the more experienced they become. I have noticed that some appear to rank up more quickly than others, and that may be due to the random traits. The role they are assigned probably doesn't affect the speed of ranking up, but I've noticed the crew not fixed in the central cabin (mechanics, medics and ammo runners) have a higher probability of going overboard and when you're out in the ocean doing laps your not gaining experience.

You can assign your crew some gear, and I suggest you review those options. I can't say for sure that they do anything at all to be honest, but I feel better that my crew isn't running around in jeans and a t-shirt.

ive noticed some of the skills disappearing and turning into zero.

You get more crew choices as the game goes on. I would replace the bad traits with crew that have better traits and you can also get Lts. as well.

You dont even know if the traits have any impact or are even implemented. So isnt this an advice based on... nothing?
I finished the campaign, didnt bother, didnt notice any significant impact at all.

Crew traits are definitely implemented and have a wide variety of effects. We intend to rework the crew system at some point as right now it's a bit opaque. I think the most noticeable difference is if you have traits like Cowboy or Featherlike that affect the chance of being knocked overboard; Featherlike sailors will be knocked overboard all the time whereas a Cowboy will always stay on the saddle.
