Hey folks,

I went back over the content and fixed up a bunch of things that were bugs, both minor and major, in the game, as well as improved a bunch of audio. Hopefully, this edition is as clean as it gets but if there are bugs, as always, let me know & I'll sort them asap.

So what's in this 1.95 edition today?

• 6,500 words of new story across three scenes with multiple versions, depending on which path you're on (Daisy, Lily, Rose, Harem, or Man About Town)
  
• 425 brand new images, with Daisy, Rose, Lily, and Lois making an appearance in this episode
  
• 39 new animations across three scenes, two of which are variations of a brand new scene, the other scene with Rose + MC is a remake of Rose cosplaying as a cheerleader, similar to the previous edition of the game, but hopefully with far, far better visuals, animations, and story in this version.
  
• Two new scenes in the replay gallery - you can pick which version of one of the new scenes you like, both variations with Daisy & MC, but slightly different depending on which option you select.
  
• 7 new audio files, 1 music track, and 6 sound effects
  
• Many audio bugs fixed, also lowered the volume of one of the most common walking sounds to make it less obnoxious (as pointed out by a few folks).
  
• Other bug fixing including on day2 afternoon, one branch had an incorrect Lily max love score, and then also a broken layout for the Lily Path Insights; a bug on day 4 that resulted in an adult scene that shouldn't have happened unless you were on the Daisy or Harem path (now appropriately, that scene is skipped if you're not on one of those two paths). Also edited the Elizabeth path and relationship on day 5 if you reject her, previously, these weren't set correctly if you decline her advances.
  
• My hard work for four solid weeks to bring you my best update yet.

Next month, we'll see the last official update that's been planned for a while...of course, if there are requests, or other stuff I should be doing, let me know so I can add that to the list of possibilities.

By the end of this update, you should see text and indicators of what path you're on, and after my debugging session today, I think those are all sensible & much, much better than the original version of the game.

Back again with another update, and we're getting closer to the end of the brand new content for the remake.

What's in the 1.90 edition ?

• About 4,600 words of story - a shorter update, since I've been shipping probably too often recently.
  
• 280+ images starting with day 5 afternoon and finishing with a new scene with MC and Elizabeth at her office.
  
• 42 brand new animations in two different scenes, both added to the replay gallery (1 with Daisy, Lily, and MC, and a new scene with MC and Elizabeth).
  
• 2 new sound effects.
  
• Changes to the beginning of the game, removing the older intro & instead starting at the bar with Lois.
  
• My hope that you enjoy the update.

There are two more updates planned, one of those will have a lot more new content, the other will have a lot of content from the current complete game updated & improved for the various endings of the game. Hopefully this update doesn't include as many bugs as the last one - if there are any issues, I'll be happy to fix them as soon as possible as always.

Hey there,

I know, it's only been three weeks, but there's a lot of improvements I wanted to get into people's hands sooner than later stretching back to the earliest parts of the remake & up through the new content.

What's in the 1.85 edition ?

• About 6,000 words of story - it's only been like 3 weeks since the last update, so this fast turn around means I can't get as much done. However, the total word count in the remake is now at 102,841 - we're definitely on track to have a larger game than the original.
  
• 425 images starting with day 5 morning, and finishing up early afternoon, with multiple scenes remade.
  
• 28 brand new animations in two different scenes, both added to the replay gallery (1 with Lily, 1 with Daisy).
  
• 2 new sound effects.
  
• All new preferences for font size, border, font face, and more - my hope is you'll have a more usable, and accessible, experience than ever before.
  
• Tons of bug fixes from the beginning through the newest content.
  
• And, hopefully few if any new bugs :)

Overall, I'm particularly happy with the new preferences page; while it could be prettier perhaps, the functionality is something I've never added to any prior game, and I'm excited about how much better the experience is when you can customize so many aspects of the text, font, and more.

There are only 3 more planned updates for the remake over the next few months so if you want anything in particular, feel free to holler.

Hey there, only a few more updates left until we're finished with the remake!

When I began the journey, I expected to finish in November, a few months ago, and here it is January, with three more updates across the next three months to go. I can't thank you enough for your support & encouragement as we make the game far, far better than ever before.

What's in the 1.8 version?

• 517 new images (of those 90 are from the previous production edition, the remaining 427 are brand new)
  
• 47 new animations across two sexy scenes (also one sexy scene from the previous edition with 11 animations); the animations have been updated to match the image processing which included defect removal & color correction to better fit the new experience.
  
• 11,400 plus words of story, including the remainder of the fourth in game day.
  
• Brand new Love score out of X on the characters page, so it's easy to see what the total potential love score is versus how many points you've acquired with any of the characters in game so far.
  
• 6 new sound effects & music files
  
• Updated the Replay link to be in the left nav even before you start the game for easier access, and added the four new scenes to replay (one scene has two variations, depending on your past choices with Daisy in game, which leads to two different sets of animation).
  
• A new driving animation earlier in the game where MC visits Elizabeth & Tricia at the office on Day 2, and a similar driving animation when he visits the bookstore in this update.
  
• Tons of updates to the prior content based on Discord feedback including choice updates, menu updates & more.

This last month has been filled with holiday cheer, good food, and even better game updates (at least, we hope you think so) :) Today, I bring you the latest effort in the Her Heart's Desire remake - version 1.7, our largest one yet.

What's in this edition?

• Fourteen thousand words of new story
  
• 568 new full HD images, and 47 animations across three new adult scenes
  
• 19 new music & audio effects files
  
• Added the scene replay feature, accessible via the left menu, or the "Stats," link in the upper left of the screen.
  
• My hopes and dreams that you all love the latest, and the remake overall, more than the original.

Hey there, it's a brand new beta today!

As usual, I've been working hard for the past month (ahem) writing, editing, and improving all the things to continue the remake of Her Heart's Desire. This edition is a little different in that there are no new animated scenes - but there will be next time, and even more as we get closer & closer to wrapping up the remake, and there were four animations early in the game that have been remade for this update with higher quality images and movement.

What's in this edition?

• Nine thousand words of new story
  
• 416 new images, as well as four remade animations from the first animated scene in the game
  
• Brand new menu (similar to the prior production version)
  
• Revamped characters page, accessible via the new Stats link in the upper left, in addition to redone character images for that section versus the previous edition of the game.
  
• Renaming feature / change the customization in game via the character profile pages for Daisy, Lily, or Rose.

The previous version of the game never had a persistent menu that linked to the characters page, which should help folks figure out where you stand with the various love interests in the game.

Hey there, we're back!

The latest edition of the Her Heart's Desire remake, 1.5, launches today after a month of hard work writing, rendering, and animating. So what's in the update?

• 7,400 words of new story
  
• 320 new images
  
• 29 new animations across two brand new sexy scenes
  
• 37 new music files and sound effects
  
• Scoring changes from the earlier game scenes based on some feedback in Discord
  
• Introducing two new never before seen characters in any version of the game, and Sara the coffee shop barista in a second job is introduced for the first time in the remake.
  
• Steam Deck compatibility? Maybe? I've also updated the code to see if we can make sure the Steam Keyboard shows up on the Deck which prevented the game from being functional, as well as updated the fonts used in the menu at the bottom of the screen.

Hopefully the Deck updates are working properly, I don't have a device to test things out myself, so please chime in on how things pan out for you if you can.

Also as always, if you see anything that could be improved, or seems like a bug, feel free to shout & I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Hey folks, we made it to Friday, it's the beginning of the weekend, and what better time to enjoy an awesome game update than the beginning of your time off from work - well, if you have a similar schedule as me, naturally.

It's been a lot of time sitting in an uncomfortable chair, since my cat stole my good one, so I'm hopeful that despite the struggle, the update is as awesome or better than usual.

Here's the scoop:

• Story continues with the 2nd day in the game and over twelve thousand words in this update
  
• 417 new images including Daisy, Rose, Lily, and a new character (to the beta) in her second job
  
• Multiple new locations that were never featured in the original game
  
• 39 new sound effects & music tracks, bringing the total to 310+ audio files (far more than the previous production game)
  
• 15 brand new animations
  
• Lots of new transitions (good, bad, or meh? You tell me) in both the earlier parts o the beta and the newest content.
  
• Audio, image, and other bug fixes from the beginning of the beta through to the newest content, with a few dozen edits overall.

As usual, bug reports of all kinds are appreciated, or if things are somehow perfection, whelp, I'll take compliments, too.

Happy Friday!

Due to some conflicting dates on my calendar, I'm shipping the beta 1.3 earlier than planned this month, but rest assured, for less than three weeks, it's got a lot more content than I used to create in two months.

So what's new?

• Six thousand words of new story, bringing the total to about 41 thousand, six hundred words - we're now over a third of the way done, and some portions in the later updates should be faster as they'll have less rework, I think.
  
• 297 new images (some are remakes from the current production edition, some are brand new).
  
• 14 brand new animations (13 of those are a remake of the previous Jen + MC scene in the bathroom) one is a surprise as part of a scene that was not in the current edition
  
• 31 new music and sound effects files, which brings the total to 276 - finally, more audio than anything else I've ever done. I'm particularly proud of this one.
  
• At least one spelling and grammar fix from the previous 1.2, and hopefully less bugs than last time ;)
  
• Updated August 17th with multiple spelling, grammar, and at least one code fix which had the wrong text depending on the scene with Lisa in the shop.
  
• Updated August 18th with two fixes for dialogue in the shop scene - one to undo the bug I created yesterday, and one to hopefully fix the original issue.

I'll be back next month with the next beta remake update. Feedback, comments, suggestions, and recommendations always appreciated.

Hey fam, thanks for tuning in to Big Chungus Productions. We've got another hot one for you, and if I do say so myself, the newest Her Heart's Desire beta is my best work yet.

So what's new?

• 550 new images (all new, nothing re-used from the current production game), and combined with the previous beta, there now 1,449 images in the remake. That's more a lot more than thirty percent of the current completed game.
  
  
• 19 new animations, these include a remake of a scene in the current game, as well as a new goodbye kiss that's one of my longest animations so far (almost 8 seconds), and a brand new scene as voted on by supporters in a recent poll.
  
  
• 83 new sound effect & music files - the total for this remake is now at 245, which is just shy of what's in Milfy Cases. I think you'll enjoy the audio even more than usual this time around - or not, but I'm optimistic.
  
  
• All new 11,400 words of story, some of which is a rewrite of the current game, and some for new scenes was written from scratch. The total in the remake is now just over 33,400 words, which is only ~6K words short of the latest Milfy Cases update before I paused development on that title to remake HHD.
  
  
• Revamped office scene with Elizabeth, Tricia, and Eric - I've used a few new techniques, some new Renpy transitions, and more to make something that I consider some of my best work yet.
