I've heard the game itself is fine but there were numerous crashes. Is this still an issue?

This fatal, game breaking bug occurs right after pleading "Not Guilty" and going over all the girls who could be witnesses on behalf of the player and only after selecting the "Arresting Officer - Christina". After selecting Christina; several screens of dialog; the fatal exception below occurs.
