Furniture Store Woes

I have (currently) maxed out the population on my save and not one single person wants to work in the furniture store. Got plenty that want to work the Bar/Cafe/Clothes shop though!

Same problem, nobody wants to work in furniture store or bait shop. Everyone want to work at cafe or clothes shop that you already always get covered with first two already on the island.

I managed to get ONE person to work the bait shop. It's a robotic frog named Z.O.T.T.

I have this same issue. Even picked up two new villagers and neither wants to work the furniture store. What would happen if I put someone in that doesn't want to work there? I just need it open. xD

Have you looked at the Critters in the journal, beside their picture it shows what stores they are willing to work at, or at least I think that's what it means, some have more than one option so maybe you should see which ones have the furniture store, if they are already working at another place you could always fire them from that job then hire for the furniture store, then find another Critter for the vacancy where they did work at.

Yup, I looked there. No ones wants to work at the furniture store at all. it's either the clothing store or cafe or nothing at all. Course I don't have the bait shop or tavern built yet.

Worse case scenario is you have more workplace accidents that cost you money but not the end of the world. You can technically put anyone to work anywhere.

Aster - Duck
Ben - CoyoDeer
Hobart - Hyena
Jasper - Tiger
Lamps - Lemur
Smelt - Dragon
Teddi - Bear
Tammy - Lion
Tulio - Cephalopod

I've got Jasper working in mine, the Uniform goes well with his fur colour
