Seashells

I need White Sea shells for another friendship bracelet I made one but now I have another quest for one I’ve cleaned out shallow sands and critter coves beach and I find red,blue,starfish and sand dollars.. are white shells rare? Also do they respawn.. it’s been 4 in game days since I plucked every shell I could find and not a single shell has come back just food resources shipwreck stuff.. or does anyone know of another location with white shells or any shells?

White shells are a little less common than the other colors from what I've seen, but do spawn where they do. That low-lying island due west from the Cove tends to have a fair number of shells, especially in the water.

Yes, they respawn during thunder storms which happen pretty frequently. I don't know if they have pre-determined spawn locations, but multiple islands can spawn them, and I've found them underwater as well. Check the two nearby islands west of Critter Cove.

Thank you it’s been 5 days and I’ve checked 3 islands lots of red and blue I’ll check those islands one said under construction if it’s shallow sand I’ve checked that every day after watering crops but if they respawn that’s good

Thanks it rained one of the five days not long though I found more red and blue under oil rig

I found one with a resource locator seashells do in fact respawn after rain as well

I see white shells on the sand/ground but I can't pick them up...glitch??

There are a few places like the docks and five crabs where they are part of the scenery and cannot be interacted with.

If they're really small, they're purely decorative.

It's only the large ones that can be picked up.
