Critter Cove

Critter Cove

being able to change and remove Critter Cove NPCs clothing
will the player ever get to change the Critter Cove NPC's clothing?
like you can removing there cloths and can give them other ones if you want to?
the gray mouse and ship NPCs are not changeable.
cloths off Critter Cove NPCs go to your inventory and the cloths you can give them (to put on) come from your inventory.

They'll eventually start asking you for clothes, just like food & furniture.

I want to bump this up. I personally would like to see the ability of the player to change the resident critter's clothes.
Here is an example of this. This could be done by having a mirror in a public space, and then when talking with the critter, directing them to go look in the mirror, and then we can change their clothes, or something like that.
But I feel VERY strongly about this. I really would like to have the ability to change their clothes. Some of their clothing choices are hard on my eyes, and I want to be able to change their fashion sense, to what I like.
Please let me know what you all think of this.

Some of them are really picky about what they like to wear so they may not like how you want to dress them, and they will change their clothes on their own too, so it would be a big overhaul of the current system, and they already bug us enough about their clothes.

Do keep in mind that they're employees and residents, not slaves. Not officially anyway.

the only time i know of for them changing the clothes they have on, is for work.
maybe let us change the work outfits too.
as for the 'they already bug us enough about their clothes' part, they bug the hell out of me about it, and i'd like a way to beable to have them stop asking about it.
also, if the NPCs change there clothes themselves (outside of work clothes), could we get a way to stop that? just stop the NPCs changing to clothes we don't like or are hard on your eyes.
for the 'Some of them are really picky about what they like to wear so they may not like how you want to dress them' part, may be have that linked just to the sidequests, but changing there clothes outside of the sidequests will not bother them. they can say something about it, but they'll not be bothered about what you want to dress them in.

Perhaps they will cut back the frequency of the npc's asking for clothes, you can always post it in the wishlist thread if it bothers you that much.

But if they ask for clothes in side quests, plus you wanting a second option to dress them, it sounds like you would be fiddling with their clothing even more than what we do now.

Or when they ask you for clothes you can always say no, I say no when they ask me if I want to buy a treasure map.

with them asking, you can change 1 thing.
with the idea i gave, you can change it all, and have more control.
have them in clothes you like, no clothing choices are hard on my eyes, what ever you like.

An easy option could be to go inside their home and use their wardrobe to add and remove their clothing options.

This would make me want to collect all the clothing and sort it to NPC's based on what they like. It also gives us that "collection" feeling, and organizing satisfaction.

you can't go into there homes at once, so the mirror idea would work better i feel.
