Here is an example of this. This could be done by having a mirror in a public space, and then when talking with the critter, directing them to go look in the mirror, and then we can change their clothes, or something like that.
But I feel VERY strongly about this. I really would like to have the ability to change their clothes. Some of their clothing choices are hard on my eyes, and I want to be able to change their fashion sense, to what I like.
Please let me know what you all think of this.
Some of them are really picky about what they like to wear so they may not like how you want to dress them, and they will change their clothes on their own too, so it would be a big overhaul of the current system, and they already bug us enough about their clothes.
maybe let us change the work outfits too.
as for the 'they already bug us enough about their clothes' part, they bug the hell out of me about it, and i'd like a way to beable to have them stop asking about it.
also, if the NPCs change there clothes themselves (outside of work clothes), could we get a way to stop that? just stop the NPCs changing to clothes we don't like or are hard on your eyes.
for the 'Some of them are really picky about what they like to wear so they may not like how you want to dress them' part, may be have that linked just to the sidequests, but changing there clothes outside of the sidequests will not bother them. they can say something about it, but they'll not be bothered about what you want to dress them in.
But if they ask for clothes in side quests, plus you wanting a second option to dress them, it sounds like you would be fiddling with their clothing even more than what we do now.
Or when they ask you for clothes you can always say no, I say no when they ask me if I want to buy a treasure map.
*shrug*
with the idea i gave, you can change it all, and have more control.
have them in clothes you like, no clothing choices are hard on my eyes, what ever you like.
This would make me want to collect all the clothing and sort it to NPC's based on what they like. It also gives us that "collection" feeling, and organizing satisfaction.
