All I need is the Fishing Rod Stand. I have all the materials except I need one basic fishing rod. It says to hand craft but is not listed to be crafted? Any way to get another one of these if I cant craft it?

you have to find enough of them to dismantle to learn the recipe, there are some on Shallows and Hot Tropic islands.

You need to get the recipe first to craft the basic fishing pole . You need to do first, the fishing quest given by Barnacle on the swallow sands.

After still not able to craft the rod I started googling it. Someone else had this problem and couldnt scroll past the friendship bracelet and figured out that I needed to click on the words and scroll down and there was the fishing rod! Case solved :)
