Need a better "Walkthrough"

I find the uncertainty as to whether you've already discovered everything and whether there are still quests to come with the 17500 package slowly more and more annoyingly.

There are still drawn curtains in the museum, so I don't know if there's anything left to find or if I'll have to wait for updates.

I don't want to ask for everything here. Can't the professor ask for that and make it a quest or something? Of course I've already found the wiki, but some screenshots are not really helpful.

I spend days diving through the sea even if there are no plants, so there's nothing, because I've learned that you can find Caves or something else “everywhere” around the islands or even on the outside of a underwater building. So days go by with zero progress, even after I bought the 17,500 package.

So far I have all the crafting machines, saw and metalworker even the better ones. All little stores to build, all recipes from all stores.

All aquariums, fish traps etc. build all 3 robots and already raised the pirateflag. Ship ist fully upgraded.

To cut a long story short: I think it's a stopper not to know what you're missing and no little hint where to find. Btw. I haven't found the sunken plane yet.

Nevertheless, I really enjoy playing this game I am just a little tired of asking and looking hours of the gameplay from other just if they MAYBE found things I dind't have.

How do you discover missed pieces?

EDIT: found the plane now. Speak to stranded critters at Boomerang Bay even if you don't want any more residents ...

you have a long way to go yet. there is still another tourist package to get and more quests.
There are 39 items to find for the museum, check your journal chapters to see it all. Go to the hammer page and hit X to flip thru the chapters in that section.
There are 62 recipes you can learn to cook,
There are 9 kinds of flowers to find and grow.
There are 7 rubber ducks to find as well.

YOu find things by exploring, some are in the open and some are hidden and some you need blasting charges to get to, and some are behind locked doors.
The game is all about discovery and exploration.
Even if you have your town full and dont want to invite any one else, talk to the castaways any way because you could get rarer/nicer decor items for helping them,
And you finally found the airplane, but did you go in the sunken ship near the airplane?? It has a museum piece in it.
Did you complete the 5 Crabs quest and open the crab shop?? Did you save up enough sand dollars to shop for cool decor items and the crab feeder?
Have you done all of Anchor's quests and Renard's suspicious night time quests?

If you still have closed curtains in the museum, then its obvious you have not found all the available items, if you cant find items then I suggest you join the Discord channel and ask there to get quick responses and tips. For example did you find the skeleton laying on a couch playing with a game system and take it away from them??

When you talk to the professor if he gives you the opportunity to donate, then you must have something do donate some where in your storage.
Have you tried putting critters in jobs they dont like to see what will happen and get the other food/drinks etc that are "bad" from them? You can get some pretty funny reactions from them too.

Again check your journal chapters: hammer page and hit X to scroll thru them will show what you have/have not found or discovered.

and the crab feeder? <b> No, this one I missed, i feed them by myself </b>

Have you done all of Anchor's quests <b> The ghost quests yes </b> but there is another one if I watch the screenshots, with two in the ship. But Anchor does nothing so far. How to trigger it? NO CLUE.
and Renard's suspicious night time quests? <b> Yes </b>

So okay, I think this kind of game is 80% made for me and 20% not, because I have the feeling I know every stone right now and find nothing more. I will give it a try and talk to the stranded ones, but its always the same interaction. Only the Boomerang i missed and now I found the airplane and yes I took all to find., the squeaker too.

I think I live with the missing museum pieces and will buy the last Tourist Package.

I kept missing the sign on the side of the car tower, for my museum. The list under the hammer I don't feel is accurate, it shows I have only 2 robots and I built all 3 of them.

yes there are a few small glitches with the journal, but most players dont know about the extra chapters in the Hammer section, that's why I mention it. I think there are 6 chapters there, and you can see things that are not available yet, like the Loaded Lookies the Sammi keeps asking me for every day. if there are specific things for the museum that you have not found yet, I suggest asking on the Discord, as some one there will be able to help you. I used to be able to post pictures in discussion pages on steam here, but steam changes things and now I cant figure out how to post pictures in discussions.
