Shady Deal quest left me with extra contraband.

When I was doing the Shady Deal quest, I ended up pulling 2 Mysterious Crates from digging at the spot told by the quest, instead of 1.
Upon reporting to the literal rat, he only took only one of the crates, and the other one is eating a inventory slot.

I can't see to be able to get rid of it though.

Just store it somewhere, or if you don't want it, sell it, delete it or put it in the Recycler

I can't do either. The item is shown as red like above, and I can't delete or do anything else.

Well that's a pain!!! Maybe it will disappear when you turn off the game. Seems like you could see it to the Rat. Shame. We need all of the inventory space!!

I have the same issue. I have two mysterious crates and I can't do anything with them.....I completed the quest. Not sure why I still have two crates left.
