Miri - fashion fanatic, but doesn't want to work in the Clothing Shop?

She's always going on about fashion (heck she even gave me a cool shirt as a reward for a quest right before I asked her lol), but when I finally got the clothing shop up and running and chose her for the job, she clearly was not happy with it. 100% thought she was a shoe-in for it.

Just kinda surprised me is all. I'll try out other folks but to make this into a more helpful topic, who did you all choose for the clothing shop?

Edit: Tried Cody next and he was really happy about it. I'm sure there are other options though so the question is still open.

Check your Critter journal. On the top right corner of each critters profile can be some buildings. They are the smaller versions of the existing building you have built in your town. Look to see if the Clothing building is shown in any of your critter profiles. Pokee runs mine but she had the Clothing store icon on her profile and why I used her. At the time, she was the only critter that had it.

Pokee the lizard that is already on the island when you start is a shoe-in (pardon the pun) for the clothing store, despite her negative attitude.

Yes I know Pokee can be used as well, and I also know about the Critter Journal. But there are alot more critters out there than the two already on the island, and I was curious what other options were found other than her and Cody for the clothing store. It's why I tried Miri first.

To be fair to Miri, you can be into fashion but not want to work in the fashion industry.
Just like you can be into cars but not want to be a mechanic.

Oh, sorry. You're looking for critter that like the Clothing job that you don't have. I misunderstood your post. I'm at max critter for the island but I have these 3: Pokee, Cody and Daphne. Daphne is a pale yellow colored mouse with pink eyes, the iris are heart shaped. She is very likable and has the Perky trait. I don't have a Miri. I may replace Pokee, since I now have some other choices,
