How do I find more sap?

I need more sap to make the wood planks but I don't know where to look or what I need to break down to get more of it. Anyone know?

You can produce it at the kiln with oil and fiber, too. Oil can be bought at the oil rig, and fiber can be generated in mass quantities by farming or going island to island picking all the fruit and veggies.

Cutting the fallen logs which spawn on the various islands has a chance of giving you resin, too.

Sap isn't available on my Stone Kiln, is there a Kiln upgrade?

Resin and sap aren't the same thing are they? This is very confusing. I need sap to make softwood planks

Translation issue? Resin / Sap. And yes, it's on your basic kiln if you go the fiber and oil route.

I made a YouTube short on really quick ways to make resin, which is that yellow stuff lol. If you can go to the oil rigs out on your boat, you can buy oil from the critter there! he has 99 available at $4 each i believe. Make sure you collect food lots and have a garden because you will also need lots of fibres

In-game it's only called Resin but Sap is also an accurate name to use, so long as you remember they're the same thing, not separate
