Finding the Solid Cutter blueprint

Hi there,

I have a little question regarding one of the workshop crafting machines.

I currently have multiple critters waiting for materials to build their houses. The problem is, they all require specific types of wood planks that cannot be produced with my basic cutter setup. Apparently, I need a "Solid Cutter", which I assume is an upgraded variant of what I have on the workshop.

I've been setting some time aside to try and find this particular blueprint, but so far, no luck... I have some questions:

- Does this blueprint actually exist in the current version of the game?
- If it does, is it related to a quest (like, related to a island building or given by a character), or do I just need to find it somewhere in the world (no need to spoil it if it's the latter, but you can drop a hint if you want)?

Yes, it exists. No associated quest. Just explore 5 crabs.

its in an under water cave around the edge of one of the 5 Crabs islands, you will need a blaster to open the door. check the wiki for map location

Thanks for your answers! I finally managed to find the blueprint for the Solid Cutter. Now I just need the parts to actually install at least one on the workshop...

pick up you old cutter, you wont need it any more.

Not true, it's always helpful to have two of each machine (or one Solid & one Simple for those that have the option), so you can craft multiple things at once.

For example, a few of the houses need Hardwood Planks, which require Softwood Planks, only the Solid Cutter can craft Hardwood but the Simple Cutter can craft Softwood, so you can use both simultaneously to save a lot of time.

well I was referring to the parts needed to make the solid cutter, you need a basic cutter, so why not use the one you have.
