Robot Questions v2.0

So do all the robots do the exact same thing or do they collect different scrap - and does location matter? I've got 9 robots total, one of each variant on three different islands and the only thing I've noticed is that the purple helicopter one fills up faster.

Id kinda prefer having all 9 robots on the main island for convenience sake - it's a slight nitpick but having to jump back into the tub boat to drop off loot gets a bit silly.

well the chopper collects wood, the digger collects stone, and the dismantler collects metal. All the salvage they collect is about the same. None of them collect things that are specific to each island, like marble or flowers or berries. and none of them work on Oh Cay island.
I had one one Shallows that gave me a huge stack of bird cages, and one on Hot Tropic gave me 30 air tanks in one day. I only have 3 on CC and one on each island and that is plenty of loot collecting for me.

So having a variety over multiple islands is the way to go after all. Sweet! Gotta get me some more torpedoes then...

These robots will get expanded on as well and eventually loot other things depending on the island etc. Right now it's just basic but a lot more planned.

Does anyone have the same issue with the NOISE of the robots? They have two sounds, one scraccling sound and one LOUD Motor Sound. I often hear audiobook while gaming and I can't take the LOUD noise of, even if I mute the whole game.

Do they work on the crab island? I know a few of the islands there have swimmable water levels but good for resources including marble. Food collection bots and water nets for the sugar ECT would be neat.

the robots do work on 5 Crabs islands, but they dont work under water, and unfortunately they dont collect marble at the moment,

I'm glad someone mentioned this because I also mentioned it on their discord. There is no way to mute the sound of the bots, even if you mute the entire game and it's the most horribly annoying sound! I use headphones, but when I go to the area where the robots are, I have to take the headphones off. It's such a loud, grating sound. Please devs, put this on your list as a high-priority to fix!

Hmmmm, that's interesting that they are audible even with sound muted. Thank you, I will let the team know to take a look at this!
