UPDATED: How to charge batteries? (Acid for batteries; solved)

Update; apparently I'm just dumb today; I figured it would just be putting the batteries in the recharger but nothing happens/nothing is possible to start, so is there a secret recipe combination wiith additional items needed alongside the batteries to get it working?

Edit: yet to test it, but if anyone can confirm, do I just need to wait for the storms/lightning to charge the stations/batteries?


Old and solved: So I have upgraded various machines and production spaces, checked on-character item creation and I can't for the life of me find where you produce the acid needed for the batteries. I have all recipes unlocked for batteries and acid as well as the recharge station. So since I can't see the forest from trees, could someone enlighten me where to make the acid so I can get the robots up and running. Thanks in advance. =)

In your cooking station with at least 3 slots for ingredients. ideally you have set up enough planters for it, because the materials are a bit difficult without a farm ready. It needs Dragonfruit, Pitcher Plant, Sea Starfruit

Thanks a lot! It was the only place I didn't consider for some reason! And luckily I have a big farm of everything already, so I'm good to go on that part! =)

yep. lightning is our power source. seems so far at least i placed 3 batteries in each they ran for 24 rl hours before asking for more. lots of resources for the effort. best QoL with a bot yet...

If I recall right the star fruits are at the same cave system leading to the pitcher plants. Note you'll need quite a few air tanks to explore the huge cave network as well as explosives to get through. https://crittercove.fandom.com/wiki/Pitcher_Plant?so=search The dragon fruit is at hotter tropic; https://crittercove.fandom.com/wiki/Hotter_Tropic?so=search
You'll also need the recycler to gain the seeds to plant them. the sea star fruit needs you to get the underwater growth pots. I recommend trying to gather up for the https://crittercove.fandom.com/wiki/Medium_Ocean_Planter parts as it's more effective than the single one you get from diving around the oil rig. Hope it helps, otherwise the wiki has a few helpful hints here and there even if not all is complete yet for obvious reasons.
