Robot Barges?

Has anyone done the robot parts quest? I can't seem to find where is the robot barges on the map especially where they need torpedoes for it?

The ones that are above water? they wander. You should probably get the engine upgrade first, though. Easier to catch up with them. There are four, if I recall. North of Oil Rig, east of Shallow Sands, east of Hot Tropic, north of Critter Cove.

ah so what they meant is the AI boats around? one was hoping the game would at least mark them or something but I managed to get the materials. and do you know where can you get batteries for the robots?

Sure. If you go back to the robot factory, you'll see grey cylinders about the size of a soda can.

battery parts are also on the barges. once disabled i got 2 days worth of harvest off of them then they respawned and needed to be torpedoed again. that round got me all i needed for the batteries and acid recipe.

If I remember correctly, it's a little ways northeast of the sunken city (edit: okay it's more like halfway between there and five little crabs), tho it's deep down so you'll need to dress appropriately!

I don't see an engine upgrade option at the upgrade station, how does one acquire that?

How do you use/load the torpedo launcher--I can't seem to figure it out, I wait for the barge to come by, im pretty close, load torpedo and then what? i play on xbox controller...nothing i push releases the torpedo's???

i give up i just can't seem to find anything to launch the torpedos when the barge come by...so aggravating??

On keyboard, it's the space key, same as jumping. Not sure on controller, but could try the jump button.

There is cave/dungeon marker in the robot factory location, where is the entrance, I can't seem to find it.

there is a little conveyor belt sticking out of a half open door where it drops off of the cliff, if you look on one of the sides of the building

Oh already found that, I guess those marker is just the way to go inside the factory? Because when I scan for item I still couldn't find all the item shown on map, so it's kinda confusing for me. Thanks for the info btw.
