Basically I was talking about when we get the ability to kick townies out, what happens to the Friendship Bracelets that we gave them? Does the critter give it back, does it dissolve and we loose a resource, can the critter keep it and we can still track them, etc? Many possibilities, depending on how the Dev's implement this.
So, what do all of you fellow players out there think about this? What would you like to see happen?
I actually like the look of tents on the beach and want to leave some critters living on the beach, so if we kick them from town will they be able to pitch the tent we gave them when they first arrived back on the beach for a while or until the next tour boat arrives to take them away.
I'd say the easiest way to do it, programming wise, would be for the houses to remain refurbished & simply become empty.
Then when you next bring a new Critter, they'll skip the whole Tent-on-the-Beach process & just run straight to the empty house* at which point talking to them has them ask you whether they should live there, if you say yes they'll simply move in, skipping the refurbishment process.
*If there are multiple houses available, that just means they can run to a different one if you don't want them living in a particular spot, just like in the first instance of populating the town.
