Demo will become EA as the saves will work in EA.
- There are some resources hidden within objects (e.g. kegs inside of rocks on the shallow sands island - only visible on the map with the resource scanner).
- The worth of products needs adjustment. Most of the time prodocts decrease in worth when further processed.
(e.g. 1 wood = 1$,
1 plank (2 wood) = 3$,
1 small crate (4 planks = 8 wood) = 1$ ???)
- Hope there will be other shops to buy resources and seeds from, because the rat only has one of each items and seems to never restock its sold goods.
- watering crops pauses within the animation (when I try to move trying to cover more crops with one animation).
- Some crops (like berry bushes) make it impossible to see if the soil is watered or not when grown in a small planter.
Still I enjoyed the demo a lot - thanks.
I was diving for a power box(?) and picked it up, but it never appeared in my inventory and I haven't been able to find any more of them. It's not in my mailbox either, if it somehow had ended up there. Will see if it shows up after restart or maybe after a storm? But I thought I'd mention it anyhow.
It took 30ish hours to complete the demo...
and its the very definition of a great demo...
even with the bugs.
I would recommend keeping a updated demo version of the game on steam.
More game developers don't do this and they loose sales...
they also over price the game.
( alot of people don't have large gaming budgets)
{64% of the gaming community is actually low income and or disabled)
For those who don't have access data to gamer needs and wants compilers.
These are the facts
80% won't buy a game they can't demo or demo watch game play first
90% won't buy a game if its over 30$
70% wait for game sales before buying
80% of game sales are hype buys and will drop off. if the game is bad or devs don't add player suggestions every 3 major updates.
(and more times then not they ask for refunds or dispute the charge with the bank)
92% of gamers loose interest in one offs with no re-playablity factor.
99% want the game optimized for graphics cards with a 10 year range at launch
99% want god mode mod options for open world builders/ play type games
(even in early access) (Also called your Game , Your world, Your way settings)
99% WANT FULL CONTROLLER AND ALL CONTROLLER TYPE SUPPORTS
(whoops hit the creative text button)
99% want a basic list of all basic disability accessibility features
examples: turn of motion blur, camera shake, anti strobe (make explosion slower or turns them off), adjustments for all the eye related ones including photo-phobic eyes...
just to name a few compiled pieces of info...
I thought the demo was great and if i have the funds after bills paid.
I might purchase it at launch. (Def wont be keeping my demo saves though, I've just been futzing around on the demo).
but the down right truth is i live in a power mad tyrant land,
( yes, even though its no longer a country as of 2020, the leaders refuse to let that country go)
and they don't give a game budget....
some time i have to wait 6 months to 3 years to even buy a game.
even though it is a proven fact most autism based people game play hardcore...
They also refuse to believe the modern reports and needs infrastructure types
and also said they refuse to implement them on live nation TV,
( 90 countries worth of leaders fyi)
so the un-hirable disabled are unable to actually support the economy.
and in case you are not following world events. low income people are on the rise...
(more then 90 countries; 64% population)
paying as much as 92% of their pay check out to just the basic bills...
In the very first text, the splash screen for the demo, it states "Wet your appetite". It should be "Whet"
