Difference between HoneySelect2Libido DX Steam VS Japanese version?

As title says, what is the difference in content between HoneySelect2Libido DX as sold on Steam and the Japanese version with its DX addon? I googled hard and could not find the answer.

Thanks for the reply Blue Eyes White Coffee! I read some of the thread and the basic gist is it is missing StudioNeoV2 right?

This might be sacrilege, but I am not interested in the Studio. All I want is to make some characters and play the game with them. I looked at a repack and there is so much stuff in it, 70gig of things like clothes, characters and stuff. But I am uninterested in most of the mods, especially since allot clothes have errors and other weird stuff.

I seen on the wiki that the DX upgrades has 4 new voices, A new gameplay "Deluxe Plan", wich opens a VIP Lobby managed by Sitri from Honey Select 1, 6 new events in the VIP Lobby, 6 new maps and some other stuff, all of which is in this steam version already or?

basically the one on steam is the vanilla HS2LDX
but ya if youre fine with that, HS2LDX Steam and HS2LDX JP is pretty much the same :3


also can probably just install the new DLC stuff yourselff when you feel like it

It be nice to know, if there are subtitles in Honey Select 2 Libido DX within sex scenes, I like to know what the girls say

Nothing, after applying BetterRepack SB patch by ScrewThisNoise (and subsequently fully updating it).

The problem is that Illusion is a completely scummy/scammy company who sells pretty much nothing on steam for upwards to $70. None of this takes into consideration being able to download 3rd party patches to even make the 'game' remotely 'whole'. Buying on Steam is a complete scam. You could probably get the full thing much cheaper somewhere else. Consider them selling Koikatsu Party on steam, They cut out the whole 'game' aspect and literally just sold studio stuff. For the same price. Most people who buy it on steam probably dont even know there is a 'game' to it.

With "studio" you mean it is sexscenes only? Because I never tried any "studio" in any Illusion game, despite me playing around with them off and on for 20 years by now.

But yeah this feels like that Capcom game Rival Schools where in Japan you had two CDs, a Arcade Mode one and one with a whole visual novel style story mode and all the west got was of course the Arcade Mode.

Yup from what i gather you are paying more but getting less in a sense.
You still have to use mod pack to even uncensor the game which by itself should lower the price since you are not getting a complete experience.

Blame their laws and what not, that's not for me to decide.
Be nice if there was a safe way to get these mods , but it's like playing Russian roulette not getting a virus.

The magnet link, which you can easily google, is 100% secure.
If necessary, you could also support the person on Patreon with 5 dollars/euro to get the direct download link to the HF patch, but this is not mandatory.

You not even need the magnet link. It is the Internet, knowing the right search term and your way around lets one find all kinds of things.

That's right, but the magnet link is pretty much the first thing you can find via google on the subject of HF patches and what most people use, so I always use it as an example ;)
