Steam Deck performance?

Could a brave soul with a Steam Deck report back how this game runs on it? Or if it even runs at all?

I was just about to open a thread on this. For me, it opens on my Deck but just hits black screen - seems like it WANTS to boot up. I’ve only tried Proton 7.38 - no luck. Anyone else??

same, I have tried various version of proton, GE-Proton7-41, 33, 7.38-6.3...something. I tried 5.xx and it doesn't support DX12 so it came up with an error message.

My PC also has UE4 crash so I couldn't even play on PC >.>

I’m having the same issue. I tried loading with the experimental proton build but it didn’t work.

How is this not compatible with steam deck :( This looks like such a good game to play on the go. That’s the main reason why I bought it. This sucks hope it gets fixed asap

Ok, so by itself get a black screen, but with your computer you are able to connect to it and play it from there.

What baffled me is that I found a game review somewhere that the reviewer got to play the game during its development phrase on his Steam Deck. If it works then, what did they do that cause it not to work now?

He played a preview build on steam deck but his review code was PS5

Thank you. That is really weird... But I'm glad to read it apparently "ran really well" on the Deck when it did actually run. Hopefully if they ever fix this boot issue, it'll still run "really well".

Yeah just try to run this game yesterday on steam deck, but black screen even though it say game is running.

Still only getting a black screen. I tried running it in desktop mode, but that just made it so I had to force the deck to reboot in order to quit.

I’ve also tried previous versions of proton. No luck there either.

I wrote to Iggymob through their support email, but haven’t heard back.

I’m assuming this is a proton issue relating to OpenGL somehow. Hopefully a future proton update will fix it.

Man that's a bummer. I sent Iggymob (ken@iggymob.com and bobby@iggymob.com) an email on this as well on launch day, haven't heard back. I think it may also be worth someone who actually has the game filing a report here:
