0. Googling. Again and again. At least, use google with site:steamcommunity.com/ parameter.
1. Set video driver to Stretching = 1024x768->1920x1080 resolution with "soap" all screen and wrong proportions.
2. Set video driver to Keep aspect ratio = 1024x768->1360x768 (i guess) with black borders and proper proportions.
3. in addition to 2 - optional - download Disciples GLwrapper by Verok. Still better choose some middle resolution and probably best - 4:3 (author say better exactly 800x600 multiple - so perfect is 1600x1200, but it require >2k widescreen display of course).
800x600 - original resolution, 1024x added after some patches.
Easy way - buy 4:3 monitor. *Any* support 1600x1200 and do not have problems with proportion.
