is that a chronological order?
anyway, i checked wiki before coming here and know in what chronological order they were released, it's just there are many campaigns inside each of disciple 2 and i was wandering in what order i should play them, last time i played disciples 2 about 12-13 years ago. is it, human, undead, dwarves, elves?
1) Dark Prophecy(Empire->hordes->clans->legions)
2)Servants of the Dark, Guardians of the Light(no idea)
3)Rise of the Elves(elves)
NA: November 25, 2003
Gallean's Return
NA: May 27, 2005
as for the order of the campaigns inside dark prophecy yea its like venomV said (its the default order when you open the game i think). most people here ask if its rise of the elves or galleans first return so i thought that was your question
Example: start off with Empire, after completing first quest jump to Hordes, after first mission jump back to Empire mission 2 then Hordes mission 2, then Legions and Clans come into play so you should jump to their campaigns for their first missions... and so on. Unfortunately the exact order is unknown to me and playing like this feels awkward for me so I simply played all vanilla campaigns one after another.
If you are asking about expansions then Servants of the Dark come after the vanilla game with Hordes being first, Legions second. Then Servants of The Light with Clans -> Empire. The Elver are last
Next you can do either Elves or Undead Hordes.
As for the other two, Mountain Clans you can do last as I feel tends to be the most boring. Legions of the Damned are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass.
And easiest is Empire - yes. But better do Tutorial and skirmish for Empire, if you need something to understand. If you want chronological way for campaign - each mission after each mission for all 4 factions at same time.
Or just randomly. Not matter which ones easiest.
Wikipedia is not a good source sometime. GR released before Elves - both in 2003. And 2nd Elves campaign is 3-mission
(second one have 1to1 copy in skirmish maps, where it do not have proper win conditions)
Although wrong info removed (not fixed but entirely removed)
Rise Of The Elves is expansion 3 and was released last.
But then again: Rise Of The Elves includes the base game as well, just not the additional scenarios from the expansions.
My personal recommendation: Play Rise Of The Elves, all 5 campaigns. And just forget about the other versions. The extramissions from the 2 first mission packs are generally not worth it.
1 ) Gallean's Return = Repackaged Base Game + First Two Expansions
2 ) Rise of the Elves = The third expansion.
