Heya, it is a machine that you can craft which will allow you to convert plants to their seed counterparts, that is, make seeds from plants (flowers, fruit, vegetables etc).

So for example, if you take potatoes or tomatoes to the Seed Sieve, the machine it will break the potatoes and tomatoes down into cut potatoes or tomato seeds respectively.
