I'm surprised Spark 3 doesn't have steam workshop support
It'd be awesome if this game had workshop support like a hat in time. It'd make downloading mods a lot more convenient and could really give the game more longevity overall!

what for you is couple of excessive clicks to get to https://gamebanana.com/games/17048, for developer, I'm sure, it's quite a pain in the ass to add a workshop. for such a small amount of mods available even.

The closest you'll get to is the Spark mod for A Hat in TIme. Actually my first experience with the character, before this game.

Speaking of mods, how do you use AssetStudio on this game? I want to extract some models and there are no .assets files.

Warning... Assetstudio might not work correctly with spark 3 due to a fact the game is so massive assetstudio might cause your pc to crash.
Plus assetstudio is not that well optimized

And most files have .resource extension. So any better alternatives?

You'll have to search it out and see which one works better for spark 3 and which doesn't.
There were a couple of modders of spark 3 present in the jester central discord server.
One of them was Beats who did mod Spark 3 a bit but it wasn't much other than a couple of stage mods and it was the spark 3 demo.

Lake did make a freefabs mod stage you can access with melonloader or by modifying your savefile.
and you also have different ids for diffferent stage assets and stuff with that but the problem is that spark 3 modding scene is too small to garantee that with barely much people there and those already existing modders are busy with their lives atm.
