I just don't get the symmetry puzzles

I've been able to solve every puzzle in this game except for the symmetry ones. I have no idea what I'm missing. Like, you're supposed to make each side match, but that doesn't seem to be enough?? The hints don't help me either.

Thank you!! I wish the cat didn't keep moving the pieces around. I was feeling pretty stupid about these but I'm able to solve them now!

For the Daily Tidy symmetry puzzles, I also recommend taking a look at the All Daliy Tidy guide, for solves, hints, tips, things people often get stuck on, etc.
