Loved today's Daily ! (symmetry/crockery)
Ooo, I just LOVED today's Daily - the symmetry one, today with broken, patterned crockery
My personal favourites are the Daily's that take a little bit of time to do - like the snowflakes, the constellations and the symmetry/leaves ones
Personal tastes differ, of course, but surely I'm not the only one out here who likes these...

And I really enjoyed today's Daily: Can be solved quickly and simply with just basic symmetry. But also, if feeling so inclined, get to play around with trying to fit the pieces into a pleasing pattern. I don't know if there is a definite "solution" that will fit all the pieces nicely together in a continuous pattern, cause I stopped after I got them into a for me reasonably well-fitting shape. But this was very fun, and pleasing :-)

Just wanted to share - cause the Daily's put a bit of extra sunshine into my days, and this one was such good fun !

Thank you so much for sharing! We tend to hear a lot about the puzzles people don't like... it's wonderful to hear about the ones that DO work! Thank you for your kind support!

I do also like the longer Dailies you described! Exept the symmetry ones where you get different items, those just don't satisfy me. One of them I loved though, it had many gems :D

Apart from that my favourite are the gradation glasses. I don't mind the short ones like the clock and the spider, they are just over too quickly for my taste.

In the main game I loved the drawers where everything had a set place, maybe you could make a new one for a special Daily like the Christmas ones? :D

i would appreciate a title or something at the start telling us what type it is, for example i wasted a VERY long time trying to make this daily into a vase and grew very frustrated the pieces didnt fit. i even pulled up the one in the main game that is a vase for some kind of refrence, if i hadnt seen this post i would have just taken the loss :(

You can actually tell what type of puzzle it is by the symbol on the Daily before starting it.
The lobster claw (crab claw?) is the symbol for a symmetry puzzle

Lol. Wish I knew how you got it quickly. I been sitting here for a half hour so confused

Are you talking about the symmetry Daily still? Cause I wrote this a few days ago, and my latest Daily now today was a snowflake one.

IF you were thinking about the symmetry daily's, the devs have given pretty detailed advice on that on here (I don't recall exactly which thread(s), but should pop up in a Forum search).

The short version is:
- any single items: place under each other in the middle of the frame (think a vertical "middle line") No prefixed positions, as long as they are placed somewhere on the middle line. And not touching each other.
- all items that appear twice (mirror images) : place in mirrored positions each side of the middle line (middle vertically). No prefixed positions, you can place them anywhere you want to, as long as mirror pairs are placed in mirror positions on each side.
- items must not touch each other

If you look closely you can see when the mirror placements work - as they will usually give a tiny jump to snap into that place. AND any items that aren't "accepted" are slightly greyer, while the "accepted" ones are whiter/clearer in colour. Usually it just takes a small adjustment to get the placements accepted as symmetrical if at first they don't quite mirror each other.
And you can also use the symmetrically patterened wood-grain background in the frame, to gauge if you've placed paired items symmetrically or not.

Hope that helps! Good luck with the puzzles :-)

To contribute to the topic of favorites, mine are paper arrangement (could seriously do variations of this one every day), bread tabs, spice jars, and constellations (especially thanks to the quick select keys to jump to the next star). Symmetry is also nice when there's a distinct and attractive variety of objects, like the tools.
