Gotta do something about continues/crashing

Just lost the longest run I've had yet with multiple legendaries and a great setup by the game just crashing to desktop. log back in, click continue, my char is just in the starting base again. lost everything. something that checkpoints your progress in case of crash to desktop and lets you continue from near where you were would be good. Massively demotivated to make another run now in a game I was otherwise very much enjoying.

I literally just crashed and came straight here to say the same thing. Best run yet, was just about to kill a boss I have not yet. A pure red inventory for melee and guns and trinkets.... was so good. @Dev you need to save state on entering any new area, and if you crash restart at that state on next load.

With that said game is awesome, but please implement what he said.

Yea it feels awful to lose a good run to a crash. Fixing crashes and bugs is our number one priority right now, and you can help us by sending us the crash logs.

We are also looking into adding the save feature between levels, but the problem is, that it's a complex feature that might introduce even more stability issues, requiring a lot of testing.

In any case, we are working hard fixing all the crashes we can find, and I'm sure the game will get much more stable soon!

finally had a build good enough to beat the second boss.... and I crashed on stage exit. I feel the pain, haha!
