Any way to restore a deleted save file?
/Stupid question

Somehow must have clicked the wrong button and it wiped the file in game instead of loading...

You might be able to restore it from Steam Cloud before it overwrites, or you might be able to use a File Recovery program like Recuva and recover it. More than likely though, it's toast.

Did you try (a file recovery software)?

save file is at
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Storybook\Saved\SaveGames\PlayerSlot*.sav
If you use file recovery software and get it to check for deleted items there, you might be able to recover it. Don't launch the game again though, or that area of the disk might get overwritten. It's either that, or pray that steam cloud doesn't sync it being deleted, which you might be able to recover from its cached copy.

If you sign in with your steam account HERE: (this is an official Valve steam website) You might be able to download a copy of the cloud save, and import it manually to where I said above the save file is located. Good luck.
