The gold you had since the beginning doesn't count :)

This has been so frustrating for me, first thinking I just need to collect as little as possible (it's hard not to run into range since there's a magnet effect and some arenas are really small), for a couple runs getting rejected by the frog with 200, 100, 50 gold and feeling bad because not only did I fail that, but I also have very little to spend for the rest of the run. Then I figured I need to pick none, which I attempted 3 times and every time I ended up picking some by accident, the last run I did I literally reached the very last room before frog, it was a challenge room, I carefully maneuvered around pickups and letting them time out when I couldn't move without risking it, and right as I killed the last enemy a gold bit BOUNCED off a wall right into my character, frog then shut me down for having 1 gold... Sadness

I gave up trying to do this after the 20th attempt due to how hard it was to move around the gold pieces, killing the enemies was easier than dodging the gold.

That makes a lot of sense, sorry for the frustration caused!

Will probably make it so it's a little bit more lenient for the final game based on your feedback.

Pretty sure I managed to get him to open after collecting 30ish gold, IMHO you get to him rather quickly so even if you got a couple of gold try it.
