Will there be post-release content updates?

Hey, I've been following this game for a very, very long time, and I've been beyond excited to buy it! but a lot of the reviews criticize the game for being too short, and I want something with good replay value, especially for the price. Will there be any updates coming later with new chapters/content? This might impact if I choose to buy it...

This is pure speculation, and perhaps the smallest possible spoiler, but the in-game credits page calls the book "Tome 1," which gave me an impression that more could be coming.

The Dev's been working on this what? 10? 15? years, and had a playable demo 3 years back, it wouldn't surprise me if funding dried up and they decided that releasing what they had was their only option, with further gameplay being DLC.

That's a great point and a definite possibility too. Maybe we'll see Tome 2 as a content update or additional DLC.

I remember one of the developer's past games (Fidel Dungeon Rescue) also had a daily puzzle. That would be fun to see here as well, if we do get a content update down the line. No way to know for sure, but feels like we'll get additional content at some point.
