But no, we're definitely not going to sell you demo levels as DLC.
So when you "cut or rework" the price, maybe I'll buy it.
Well, let me tell you that removing the jester hat extra challenges was a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible idea. It's like you carved a big chunk of the soul out of the game. I don't get why. No offense, but it was a really bone-headed decision. Hope they're added back at a later time, because it was a huge disappointment to not have them there.
And all the demo content that went missing... Yikes, what were you thinking?
Instead of unlocking them all after you complete all of the original challenges, each one is immediately available after you complete the first version.
So you made the game shorter and less fun on purpose. The demo was great and was why I wanted to buy the game. The game that you released isn't like the demo. And if you need the money that bad then you could have just released it as EA title at a cheap price or something. Making people pay almost 15 usd for an hour to two hour game with an end credits sequel baiting doesn't look good.
It feels more cohesive and challenging.
Demo levels are indeed fun, but might not quite fit the launch version.
Congrats on finishing the game, devs 👑
About the only thing that really feels like it's missing is the Adam & Eve levels that include God and the Tree of Knowledge, but we also got a lot more new stories and themes (I especially enjoyed the Detective ones). Everything else that was changed or scrapped feels like it provided a more cohesive, polished and clearer version of the game in the end.
And how is the demo more flexible?
consulting a book about classic plots would help, I guess?
(Also I have no idea how the final version got them removed, all the shining creativity from the demo. the short volume is not the worst issue here. Now most of the levels feel repetitive and dull-)
To be very clear, I loved the demo and I also loved all the minutes I spent on the full game. But the demo (especially that "ending reel" thing) basically promised more content than what was delivered. My feeling is that at some point the game had to be shipped as-is and a lot of content was cut.
***EDIT***
Well, now with the recent update the game got MUCH more complete and satisfactory! The amount of content is just right (in my opinion). Amazing game! I'm just a tiny bit annoyed that now the game is free for anyone with a Netflix account (which I have), but well, it's always nice to support indie devs, especially fellow South American devs.
