Is the whole game inspired by Scandinavian folklore ?
Hello,
What I particularly like about this game is what it teaches us about Scandinavian folklore. However, when it comes to the game's third area (more or less), I can't find any connection to Scandinavian legends. I'm talking about the passage with the demon and scarecrow. Is this an addition from the developers, where there is a connection with Scandinavian legends ? Thanks for the help !

Looks to be fiction. Here is a small excerpt from the DLC artbook:
Kärrhäxan’s back story has had a couple of iterations.
Her concept art draws references to midwives of the early 1900s. (...)

Hey there! A lot of the game is heavily inspired by Scandinavian folklore, yes! Creatures like Näcken and Skogsrå are adapted straight from Swedish and Scandinavian folklore, whereas other elements like Kärrhäxan are original creatures inspired by folklore and stories.

The area you refer to sounds like the swamps, which feature Kärrhäxan - the matron/demon character. She is an original character, but based upon the stories told about “Mylingar” (the dark shadow creatures that surround Olle in the swamps)

As Renascent says, the artbook is a great way to find out more about the inspiration behind these designs throughout the game. The link for this is here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2362270/DLC_Bramble_The_Mountain_King_Digital_Artbook/

All of Bramble is heavily rooted in Swedish and Scandinavian folklore as the Swedish developers wanted to share the stories told to them throughout their childhood with the rest of the world. We are glad to hear you have enjoyed learning about the folklore of these regions and we hope this encourages you to find out more about the Mylingar!
