Bramble: The Mountain king Error or bug??

In the part where you spread your fingers with 4 buttons in town, when you use the keyboard and mouse, it is space shift E Q, but the Q button is not input.

Even after installing a new game, pressing them one after another doesn't work.

My keyboard is fine.

I can't play the game, what should I do?

try reloading to a check point then do it agian if that does not work plug in a xbox or playstion controller i had alot of bugs were to pick up something it would not let me do it so i restarted the check point and it let me

Hi! Dev here. This issue is likely caused by your keyboard not being able to register these simultaneous key presses (ghosting). We are looking to get a patch out soon which tweaks the input scheme for this mechanic to mitigate this issue. In the meantime, you can try either plugging in another keyboard or plugging in a game controller, and you should be able to complete it (there are two occurrences of the mechanic in this level in total)

Hello! We have changed this puzzle a bit to help with this problem. So, from the next patch, which will arrive soon, you will be able to release the key after the finger is "opened". :-)

Good to hear that a patch for this is coming soon! I've been waiting to get the chance to continue with the game so this bug's been driving me crazy

Our streamer ran into a similar issue on stream:

The keys work to remove the fingers, however, before she even removes the fingers - the drawer is already open.

Once the fingers are removed - we cannot turn the handle - and cannot retrieve the key from the already opened drawer.

I am the Streamer Mem is talking about and I would love this to be fixed because I adore this game in it would be a shame if I could not finish it because of this bug. :( I tried to restart the game and also tried a different keyboard. But nothing worked.

Hey! We're sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with using keyboard for these QTEs. We have just released a new patch today that helps fix some of these issues, including the issues where players with keyboards were unable to complete QTEs that required you to push down on several keys at the same time. I think this is still a bug in the game. i just started playing Bramble for the first time a few days ago and i got to this part and i get her hand off of the crank and the drawer is already opened with no key inside so i can't progress past that point :(

I thought the same thing but it only looks open! I was very confused. Just interact with it and you will open it. It is just a strange visual design. Feel free to hit me up and I will show you how it worked for me. I still have the game footage

nope. couldn't refund it either so now i just have a broken game in my library

Hii! Still having this problem a year later after a patch. I would love to finish the game but it soft locked during this part of the game. Will there be another patch perhaps?
