Keyboard Controls SO Clunky

I want to play this game, but I do not play on a console. My preference is mouse and keyboard for FPS and RPG games too. I switched options to "keyboard" and it didn't help. I want to use the mouse for camera angle and WASD for movement. Since the mouse does not work for camera, I can only use WASD for movement which is clunky and extremely annoying. Unless there is full support for mouse and keyboard, unfortunately I'll have to pass on this one.

Purchased the full game today, but I am getting frustrated with the WASD movement. I can only move at 45 degree increments which isn't always Ideal, and it makes the character switch direction a lot (and not smoothly). At one part I had to run along a rotating log so trying to change direction, and sprint, and jump - it wasn't hard, but it wasn't fun. Us keyboard and mouse users are so used to using the mouse to give direction that this weird console method feels quite foreign, and without being rude, a bit wrong.

OMG mouse camera movement is just horrible! Why is the camera floating instead of having direct input from the mouse? This is unplayable...

agreed whole-heartedly - the log crossing is driving me up the wall - it should be straight forward, but I object to trying something twenty times before I finally succeed when in theory I know exactly what needs to be done.
