Soulash
Gods - what happens when you kill them?
River god - killing him makes all rivers dry up (but ponds, wells and underwater streams still exist).
Farming god - killing him makes all farming plants die (wheat and such).

Anybody willing to share more tips?

God of swamps - No idea killed em tho.
God of blacksmithing - Reduces durability of all items by like 25% and any items you craft from then on has infinite durability. (until you exit the game and come back due to a bug)
God of Rain - can summon a rain storm at will for 50 turns, cooldown of 100 turns.

God of Blood/Death: You can now drink blood. All water sources turn to blood. I'm actually not sure about the swamplands. I can't tell from just the map

God of Winter: It will snow (-10 to frost resist). All water sources freeze over. Again, not sure about swamplands.
God of Rot: Didn't notice See below
God of Dreams: I think resting stopped generating fatigue?
One of these 3 seems to have knocked down all wooden walls, tables, and chairs I was in the desert at the time, didn't find out till I got back.

God of Magic: Didn't notice
Moon God: Didn't notice
One of these 2 May have made it rain fire periodically

God of the Swamp: Drains the swamp. IE muddy water tiles => dirt.
Goddess of Fertility: All trees become dead trees. (Maple => Dead Maple Tree, etc...)
God of Destiny/Weird Altar: Immediately teleport to the maze under the palace. Also, the ability to teleport at will (IE Fast Travel). (I think this was from them?)
God of the Hunt: Gain ability 'Summon White Deer'
Serpent Goddess/God of Silence: Gain ability 'Banish' (banishes all summons in radius)

God of blood/deathalso gives two skills which spawn blood pools and an allied vampire.
God of Rot: Causes all grass to become rotten grass.

God of Magic: Yup, rains fire.
Moon God: Interrupts the game's night cycle. If killed first you will only have daylight hours.
Sun God: Like the Moon God it's what you would expect to happen. Interrupts the daytime cycle and locks you into perpetual night. Should you kill both it will lock you into twilight hours (dusk and dawn).
God of the Hunt: Also kills all animals on the map.

Thanks, I was wondering if Hunt would do something like that but didn't want to wander around randomly to verify :)

Did you notice if Rot destroys all wooden walls/doors/tables/chairs on the map? He seems like the best fit, but I could maybe see arguments for Winter/Dreams at a conceptual level.

God of Dwarves: all stone tiles turn into dirt walls (about 60 hp) (can't mine or shovel lol). Stone ground becomes dirt. Vein becomes xx vein in dirt (copper vein in dirt etc). Acquire a new ability: dwarf throw, dealing physical damage and summon a dwarf existing 20 turns.

why is having the plants die something good?

Well, makes sense from a lore perspective. Kill the god of farming, plants die. Kill the god of the river, river dries up. Some gods are not good to kill, frankly.

Regarding the god of the hunt. If animals all die, do they ever respawn in the wild?

Also, is there any way to know how difficult a god is to kill? Also, about what level should you even try the god of smithing?

There was a post named 'How hard are gods'. I think you will find suggested levels there. Animals don't respawn, so leather is valuable. God of smithing: Although suggested level is 11, I think 9 or less can get him easily, at least for necromancer after acquiring ability 'summon skeleton champions'. He deals little damage (20-30 damage to skeleton champion) and cast trivial spells.

i killed the god of the hunt last, there were very little if any animals left when i took my soul back from him, there are zero respawns in the world as a feature however.

the bonus was moot as well.

the gods range from 200 to 1000 hp, obvious higher hp = higher dif, as they take longer to kill + get to use their abilities more often.

theres no way to know how dangerous a god is without attempting them first to your specific character and RNG build. Someones that defeated them / looked at raw can tell you specifics though.

I would not attempt to kill a deity without a form of escape. Vanish at minimum, boots of haste as an example.

your characters build matters the most however, but that would require an entire guide honestly.

I appreciate it!
