What I mean is I'll go in a cave or it will be night and a character who has infravision is basically as blind as a human in the dark. Never starts out this way, but after a while of playing it seems to happen. I'll try to nap a few screenshots if it happens again.
Sure, it can still give you a sneaky advantage during the night hours, due to most of your enemies not being able to see you from far away, but that extended vision distance doesn't last as long.
