Galaxy Map ?
Is it just me but the game feels clunky. why is there a 2D galaxy map ? doesn't feel right.

It’s actually not if you rotate the camera around. You can see Wolf359 is higher up on the galaxy disc than Sol.

That's just how stellaris is, which is what this game is based on, and as stated above, it isn't completely 2D.

Yeah the game that is the code foundation for this one is also 2d. Personally I have found 4x games with 3d maps to be awkward. I am glad that some of them had a setup option to play in 2d space instead.
