No dilithium in the game
I just noticed this...there is an icon for dilitihium but it stays at zero for the entire game. Says its needed for warp drive but is not a required component to build ships. No natural dilithium either, although I think i saw a tech reducing the required amount for engines, which is already at zero anyway.

I've seen it in a natural environment, but it's a rare resource. You can get buildings to convert it.

Its a rare resource early game from systems. Later tech can produce them just like crystal refinery in base Stellaris.

The main problem I see here is for the short time period of the game, the tech bloat and random chance to research from Stellaris dont work well here.

Do you know what building it is? I seem to can't find it. Thank you

This is a weird decision. I mean, dilithium is critical for warp reactors. Without it, there should be no warp drives. I get that they want to make a rare resource that's really good, but surely you can come up with something better for that than the single most important resource in ST?

How about corbomite?

Tech required is Dilithium Filtration System.

there is a system close to the federation and klingon empire. called Beta Pente... if you area fan of star trek then you know what kind of planet is in that system ;)

I like it cause it keeps the resource in high demand and creates territorial pressure.

I actually got a pile of 50 dilithium in the first year or two of the campaign. I then constructed a building that is trickling in something like 0.83 dilithium per month. I have hundreds of it but not yet found anything to spend it on.

IMO, it is seeming like tetryons are more valuable in the early game as they are needed to build or upgrade a number of useful facilities.

I don't think OP is trolling. I think he is just not a Stellaris player so not familiar with the idea that the special resources are, for the most part, not a factor in the early game.

It is such a sad cash grab of a game.

If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Lots of folks are playing it and enjoying it.

It is a sad existence to feel the need to publicly slam things you don't like. At least have the courtesy to start your own threads for that purpose instead of invading unrelated threads.

I did find a research labelled Dilithium Chambers. It increases warp speed by 20%. I have not finished the research yet, but I am assuming to take advantage of the boost I will need to spend some of my dilithium stockpile.
