Bug? Cloud Saves Enabled - Wont Save to Cloud

I have the cloud saves enabled in the game settings, yet when I make a save, check the box to include it in the cloud, and then try to load, it shows that it is just a local save. I am playing on steam deck and a PC but cant transfer the game because it wont save on the cloud. Is there something I am missing, or is it bugged?

They must be working for some people, since they are getting achievements. It's not working for me either though.

When looking into the settings, the game does not provide the option to place save game files into the steam cloud. Annoying.

i have the same issue, ironmode has stopped working, tried a new campaign as Admiral.
Game wont let me access ironman mode. Not synced wwith Steam cloud in red text)
Checked Steam settings cloud is available even cleared the Steam Cache,

I am having the same issue. I can't turn on Ironman mode since Cloud saving is off, but I can't turn on Cloud saving in options since it says I'm not logged in to my Steam account, but I am.

Had Cloud Save and Ironman running till the last Stellaris patch.

Maybe some shared files got screwed with the latest build?

Iron Man can't be enabled without cloud saves. I'm having the same problem.
