But yeah the borg really did feel incredibly meh. Like they felt really early game too so I was panicking but when I faced them it was...meh
Like it makes no sense to separate science ships with military ships in star trek (for any faction imo)
Completely agree, honestly we should have hulls and see how much we dedicate to science, exploration and direct military action, instead of building stellaris scouts

Borg should be very hard.
Borg is not a mid-crisis or a playable menace (Stellaris term) but an early-game event to do?
I expected something with more "oh ♥♥♥♥, the entire galaxy is on fire" threat level either as AI or playable faction.
There's also game setup options to increase the severity of the crisis.
A few streamers cranked up the crisis strength, and the borg kicked their behinds in.
I also think that the Federation gets the most bonuses from their mission chains for the crisis.
