I don't see what your reply has to do with the OP.
Has the crashing in combat and memory leak been solved from the original?
I would have loved BoTF 2, where we advance through the eras beginning with old Constitution class ships in the 23rd century, but will take whatever we're given. We certainly haven't seen the full extend of what they hope to deliver, there isn't even a release date yet, so let's see what they manage to actually pull off. And where additional development and expansion can take us if it's as successful as other paradox titles - From additional eras to the Gamma Quadrant and the Dominion, they can go anywhere if they build a strong starting foundation.
Unlike BoTF and that general era, paradox supports, improves, and builds out their titles.
But its NOT BOTF2, its going to be nothing like BOTF, its going to have the Garbage Stellairs combat.
Its Star Trek: Stellaris and thats it.
